Congrats to all the lucky ones who got to ride tonight! I'm really glad to keep hearing so much praise and excitement!

Now I think I might have to make a trip this weekend to see if I can catch some softs! And maybe get a bite at Fast Food Blvd. too!

Only got to ride once because we were starving, but I think I have a new favorite ride at the parks! Very, very good.

So, was the VTU issue merely a systems reporting error or was it actually stopping the vehicles on the lift? I haven't heard any reports of e-stops etc.

I rode with Banks Lee :thumbs it's an awesome ride. As soon as Banks noticed the doors opening and said "the garage door is opening" we bolted over there .

Rode it twice, new favorite ride at USF. I was in the first RV with non employees, so I guess one of the first non employees to ride.

I loved the water and wind effects! They were awesome! The water really felt like it came out of the screen.

Just rode with my girlfriend and mother. They both agree, best ride in the resort, what a great attraction!

So, my impressions - first load was slow and weird compared to Spider-Man (Wonder if one VTU was down?). But where as Spider-Man builds to a climax, Transformers forgoes plot, logic and sets and dumps you right into a CGI-created climax right away (and I mean that in a good way). The ride is similar but way more intense than Spider-Man - you really dont have time to catch your breath you're just whirling from one screen to another (and those are BIG screens). The elevators are well-done (unless you look around you'd never notice). Rode it three times, and people seemed to scream a lot more on this than SM -- I think thats a good sign. It's just different enough to make it worth having both here and the ride will be INSANELY popular.... at least until next year :D

Ok kids... something that has been killing me for months... and now we have the ride on property. Can you see what the lift mechanism is for the elevators? Is it cables, hydraulics, can you tear your glasses off on the 8th ride to look at the lift mech?

I'm from California so I've already ridden the Hollywood version a ton of times and I've always had difficulty seeing the lift system. Which is a good thing. Unlike Forbidden Journey or other dark rides, even if you turn around or look where you aren't directed, it's still difficulty to see any "backstage" stuff.

Ok here ill try to sum up the questions.

The indoor queue was actually a lot longer than we thought! i think its at least going to be 45 min from the door.. And yes the outdoor queue is still uncovered. On a good note the indoor queue is just amazing!! So much to look at and its so well thought out my props goes out to the designers.

As for the loading dock i agree with the other poster it just seemed like something was off.. It was taking forever to move the rv's into the show. Maybe because there are so many screens there is a greater gap between the RV's? idk maybe HTF can comment on that.

And yea cant really notice the elevator honestly i didnt even know we were on it!!! Insanely insanely smooth!!! I mean maybe if you look you can tell whats running it but
was so in the moment didnt care how it worked!!! lol.

it was so funny people just started gathering and gathering doing what tourists do "hmm whats all these people standing here... might as well stand here to" and then TM came out and were like just so you know were not open.... Tourists left and 5 min later opening of the gate!!! Was pretty funny..

all you guys tomorrow good luck!! hope its open all day!!

And yea HTF were were you at!!! would have figured you be first one in line!! i mean you deserve it!!

If you look away from the screen you can see you are going up, but unless you are actually looking for it, you'd never notice

Thank you all for sharing your reactions. I'll be at the parks THIS WEEKEND and will be glued to this forum.

I LOVED it. But the similarities with Spider-man are striking. They even use a LOT if the same audio cues Spider-man. But to say something is "strikingly similar" to the best ride on the planet? Well, I'm confused as to whether that's a good thing, or a bad thing.

Anyway, I'm glad we have it, love the area music, and I really like the building.

With OP up there, it looks like he's about ready to say, "AUTOBOTS, ROLL OUT! And all those garage door will open up, and..,

That's a given. The ride was originally never meant to co-exist alongside parks that already have Spider-Man but here we are. But with people calling it their new favorite ride at the park and possibly the resort, USF greatly benefits from having an E-ticket like this.

I loved the energy of the TMs inside. Before I boarded, one was yelling at me "Are you ready to save the planet!?" Fun stuff.

There was a point in the ride where I was like OK ...THIS is the elevator...since I am tall, I looked over Evac's side and could see the last room and my mind was blown. It wasn't the elevator. NEVER noticed the elevator after two rides and was looking for it.
