I agree with you in a way. I think that I like Spider-Man because it's very immersive, but more importantly has a cool storyline with neat characters. After the novelty of Transformers wears off, I can see myself not really getting all that excited for it, because the storyline and characters just aren't there. And since it's not a super adrenaline thrill machine, those things are pretty important to the ride experience. I loved the ride and thought it was excellent, but after a few more rides I can easily see my opinion changing to match yours. So no worries, I see where you're coming from

And I agree that the physical sets were very well-done in this ride I'm not sure why so many people disagree, maybe because the emphasis is just on the screens.

no need to be rude about it--if you don't agree with someone just keep it to yourself

I really like that scaffolding set piece, with the tool boxes, wheelbarrows and buckets. Reminds me a lot of the city sets in our beloved Kongfrontation.

I haven't spotted iron hide or ratchet but I've only ridden it twice and am unlikely to again for a couple of years now

Does anyone know if the passholder previews are open to all levels or limited to a couple?

They should be open to ALL passholders although you may want to call ahead to be sure.

I rode this ride yesterday and I must say I am pretty impressed. Optimus Prime looks amazing on top of the building and even though it's similar to Spider-Man I prefer this ride because in Transformers I feel in the middle of the action more so than in Spider-Man. And the queue looked fantastic, Universal is doing a great job on detail in their most recent projects. Speaking of which I got the chance to look at FFB and I love how it looks. Being a long time Simpsons fan it was great to see krusty burger and moes come to life. Though the Barney statue I noticed had disappeared. I did not get the chance to try any of the food options here because I had already bought the meal deal for the day so it felt like it would be a waste of money but when I come back at the end of the month or the beginning of July I will definitely try some food then. Did not have a camera with me but the duff factory is coming along real well.

After missing out last week by about an hour, I finally got to ride today! Rode it twice, and color me impressed. The indoor queue is great, and much lengthier than I thought I'd be. The ride itself is very thrilling and fun. Everybody in my ride vehicles absolutely ate it up both times. Cheers, gasps, screams, and so-on. This is going to be a big hit!

P.S. - Waited 40 mins regular line, and only 5 for single riders!

I am at annual pass holder preview, and as I was walking by the Optimus Prime character, he said "pass holders! The time has come to prepare for battle!" I do not know if it is like the hollywood characters but it could be a start.

I saw the lines this morning and the people running towards the building and knew there was no way I was going on it today. I just bought am AP decal at the vault from a super nice TM and I left.

What are those things embedded in the walls supposed to be? They look like giant ninja stars.
