They've been opening up in the evenings daily despite the Annual Passholder events, I assume. I saw this was asked a few pages back, but no one directly answered it. All signs point to yes, but I don't want to drive out to Universal only to be disappointed.

Aaaah... so it appears they are going to block off the street when M&G's are going on, and allow people down a narrow strip next to the building and through the arch. It is almost as if they are in the theme park business and think of everything.

anybody notice how beaten up the queue line is getting already!!! Damn people scratching off crap!! Cant even see numbers what it is anymore.

Yes they will, as when I asked what the queue facing the lagoon was for, a TM said it will eventually become the extended queue for Express & single riders.

I reported Express would open with the ride months ago along with an express lane for Kodos and Kang. Lets hope I didn't get it wrong :look:

I wouldn't worry about getting that wrong, as its an operational decision that is likely based entirely upon the ride crew and how they're handling things. I'm sure the expectation was to have it running from the 20th, but if they need to give the crew additional time to get up to speed, they can do that pretty easily. I would also not be surprised to see them do "surprise" Express usage for brief periods the few days leading up to the 20th to really test the crew on that.

K&K is a different story, though (not sure they can complete it and get the necessary cycles by the 20th).

I really don't see the point of that gate (assuming it's actually functional and not just theming.) Closing off the street would serve no purpose I can think of, and it would be terrible for crowd flow. Plus it's literally impossible to close with the meet & greet queue right in the middle of it.

Thats seems like a very narrow path. (Between transformers and Shrek) I see the gate being used for the mardi gras concerts. During the pitbull concert, they closed that side making it an exit path only.

Oh man, as a stilt performer I'm super jealous of those seats. Looks like they can just walk up the steps sit down and strap in!

^ Is that a standard setup for stilt walkers at the parks? Looks like a pricey setup. On the other hand, the costumes are probably the most expensive of all the Florida parks.

Transformers is currently open with 40min standby. Singles is about 15.
FYI, a backdrop with the autobot logo has been added to the M&G building to hide the stilt seats.
