Reset shouldn't take too long if there's only 3-4 vehicles. The reason resets take so long on other trackless attractions is that the vehicles have to be pushed to their starting positions for a cycle. The higher the number of vehicles, the longer that takes.

This issue could end up hurting universal a lot. They are promoting this as THIS SUMMER. Commercials, print ads and mailers. People are going to be very angry to find out THIS SUMMER could be late August or September. People who are disney regulars giving universal a shot to impress them wont be back next year. Disney has that pandora land opening soon? Universal needs all hands on deck to get Kong up and running. If it means having staff pull the dang trucks through the attraction.

Yes, in people's minds, summer is June, July, August. Though technically most of Sept. is still summer, people don't think that way. With the theme of the advertisements & marketing, I would guess that people visiting in July/August that had seen the advertising will expect Kong to be open & functioning well, and if isn't, they will be upset. Case in point: Most people like Gringotts now. But it wasn't getting glaring reviews in 2014 when it opened later than expected, kept breaking down, and had lines that were too long because they only had a few trains running.

Personally asking, why would we expect Tuesday? Would that be the start of TM Previews/Walls coming down?

In any case, he could be relating to walls coming down and instead a barrier (not that it'd be better though..)

They've done much worse far too often.

I have no inside knowledge, but I think they are still in good shape I mean, from reading this site, it seems they got early start by setting deadlines and target dates early. I honestly feel they could be doing 'technical rehearsal's' without 'public softs' in order to be ready for their media day..it is great to have folks to test with and to study load/unload queue flow and stuff like that...just saying it isn't mid June yet and if they are ready by media, then all is good in my opinion.

Besides the opening of walls to allow the "Mess Hall" to be open, yeah; they haven't moved at all.

The walls will come down, the softs will start, the ride will open, people will ride, and then we will be here waiting for the next project with a large influx then a lull then a influx then construction then lull then the wait for softs...it's a sad depressing cycle.

It will be bittersweet when this ride actually opens.
