the only onsite early entry rides are harry potter, right? Not kong?

So far but they have been letting the EPA guests queue for Kong starting before they let the GP in so once 8 hits they start running or maybe a few minutes before.

Kids in Georgia go back the first week in August.

Kids in Houston area go back mid August for public schools.

curious if there is a drop off closer to park closing time? We do early entry, lunch, rest, back to park for a bit. We really want to see the parks lit up.

These early August back to schools are one of the reasons (besides HHN & Mickey's halloween) that October has now become a fairly busy period for the theme parks. Many schools are now having Fall breaks, so people take advantage of the no school and better than summer Orlando weather, to visit WDW & Universal.

That's still pretty high for that time of night. Keep posting the times though, it really helps.

The first night it was officially open, the wait was 120 minutes at 9pm, and they were still letting people into the line.

The issue is those are really the only headlining rides (along with Dragon, but that ride eats people and it sees less traffic) in the park right now if you don't want to get wet, so naturally the wait times will be high for those rides. Sure once Hulk comes back it adds another, but it goes to show that IOA is a very incomplete park still. Hopefully Toon Lagoon gets the SLoP ride.

Can I respectfully suggest different formatting for posting wait times so it's easier to read, compare, and find when looking for?

Interesting. I wonder what Hulk coming back up would do to times. I'm thinking FJ would drop more, and Spiderman might drop a bit with people heading to hulk rather than Spidy.
Are both parks having early entry?
30 minutes FJ is practically a walk on with the castle tour.

Both parks have early entry for a few weeks more. Yeah, maybe Spider Man will drop a little when Hulk comes on board. Kong hasn't had much effect on it's lines from what I've monitored. Kong has seemed to help FJ a bit though, in lowering the lines down a bit. Probably a location effect.

I think the biggest effect of Hulk opening will be to lower Kong lines. More will hit Hulk first then go back to Kong. I think some are going to Spiderman because of long Kong wait. If that goes down that will take some wait off SM. So many guests come for HP I don't see FJ dropping much farther.

They will hit hulk, than since the that will lower lines at spidy go to that next. Kong is clearly lowering the lines at FJ, good news for me as I'm bringing a first time visitor HUGE Potter fan in August.

Yes, but this all boils down to a left right decision. Does they go right to FJ or left to Kong and Hulk. I think those that have been deciding to go right will keep doing so. If that is true then Hulk will likely pull from Kong. SM would be the third choice so I figure lines will go down there. Just my guess. We will see soon enough.
