New sign is being put up tonight so we'll see tomorrow.
If Muppets is going away soon, it would make you wonder why Disney would waste money and time on any refurbishment of any kind.
They purposely went out of their way to save Muppet Courtyard when planning Star Wars Land - Muppets isn't going anywhere. If Muppets is going away soon, it would make you wonder why Disney would waste money and time on any refurbishment of any kind.
Normally I would agree to update it, but it's the last project Jim Henson worked on and I don't trust current Disney to do a new Muppet show right (unless Jason Segal is involved). And the 3D film is only 26 years old. Still a lot of life left in her.
So, it looks like they are trying to create a cohesive, NY type theme for this courtyard?Seen at a WaWa in Orlando this evening...
1. I still am confused if the theme is NY or CA (since the address on some of the theming in PizzeRizzo clearly states CA for PizzeRizzo)So, it looks like they are trying to create a cohesive, NY type theme for this courtyard?
I'm hoping that they do something more with the salvaged SoA backdrops than just a refurb, Maybe some new Muppets themed streetmosphere or even an outdoor show?

It's the best 3D show in Orlando IMHO. The content is stellar.
Edit: WDWM has photos of the sign up. Not sure how I feel, the temp banners remain and the sign is VERY small. I hope this doesn't turn into a DCA situation.
