I would say the unknown one would be Classic Monsters.

Our tram be Classic Monsters or Original.

And that we lose either JP or Mummy (Leaning towards JP).

Going to be honest, USH has no excuse anymore in regards to keeping DMMM/Potter closed. Especially if JP goes, they need to get people away from the mazes, and a single show isn't going to do that.

Quick thought but if Asylum comes what are the odds that that group that got rid of Knott’s Asylum attraction won’t come for this one. I’d say it’s unlikely but I mean who knows, hopefully political correctness won’t stop Hollywood from doing Asylum soon

If I'm not mistaken, Knott's/CGA were forced more in part to events occuring before those opened that we saw those two do massive changes (with Knott's just getting rid of it). While I wouldn't rule it out, they'd be dealing with a maze with creative oversight by Ryan Murphy and FX executives. I would imagine they'd have final say on a decision.

That would be cool, but I feel the Thing has been used for HHN several times already, and some other horror movies need to have a chance to shine that Universal hasn't been using, like IT or the upcoming Halloween movie.

So here’s our speculates line up:

-TWD
-AHS (Asylum? Cult?)
-Halloween
-Stranger Things
-Trick r Treat
-The Thing

The last two and Terror Tram is anyone’s guess.

My wishlist/prediction for HHN this year: TWD, IT, Stranger Things, Halloween (based on the 2018 film), Conjuring, and AHS (Asylum or Cult might be possible).

My guess for Terror Tram would be anything than the previous years. Maybe something related to Blumhouse Productions and something along the lines. I would also like to add that AHS this year might be the last due to the potential Disney/Fox deal that might come next year (or not). If the deal is done, then Universal is going to have to look for something else.

I live by CGA so when their Asylum maze got the axe it was a big deal in the park. I’d imagine that since it wasn’t a licensed maze it was easier to scrap without legal issues, but with AHS Ryan Murphy and Co wouldn’t allow it to be scrapped bc of political groups. Also, should Cult come does anyone else think they might move it out of the mega tent?

Edit: So here’s a quick summary of speculation atm -

Highly Likely to be a maze:
- AHS: Asylum or Cult
- Blumhouse’s Halloween
- Trick ‘r Treat
- IT(2017)
- Stranger Things
- TWD

Could be a maze but could also not come:
- The Thing(1982)
- Universal Classic Monsters
- Whatever original Murdy was talking about on Twitter
- Nightmare on Elm Street

Not Likely:
- Alice Cooper 3.0
- The Conjuring
- Hellraiser
- Scream
- Jeepers Creepers

And for Terror Tram possibilities:
- The Purge
- UCM
- Original
- Krampus 4D

As far as I know neither park has done the original Thing; Hollywood seems more interested in doing it though so I’d imagine if it comes it’d be an exclusive for us

Back in 2007, Universal Studios Florida did The Thing: Assimilation HHN maze based on the 1982 movie then again in 2009, when some scenes of the 1982 film were part of the "Silver Screams" attraction. Only in 2011 did both USH and USF did a maze based on the prequel. Personally, I feel the 1982 movie might contain some similarities, even though it would some notable differences (the ending for example) and would confuse the audience and guests if they know it's a prequel or sequel.
