That brass fan sprayer is something I have never seen before. I wonder if it works differently than the cone fan sprayers.

How many mist screens does this show need? Hah! I hope it’s not overly a clip show. WOC works best when the screens add depth to the moment and the fountains are the star.

I'm going to say this, and say this up-front, when used in proper context, mist-fans can do so much with the right clip.

WoC has a crap ton of Mist-Fans, yet you don't see people complaining about those now do you?

If I was to guess, there are 4 total, with 2 on the barge and two on the sides. I also think we'll see at-least one fountain going over the 160 ft mark, but that it'll be used for one scene and one scene only.

They are the same. That brass plate is what is inside the cone. The cone is just a shroud to cover and protect the delicate brass parts.

From the looks of it, they're using multiple water screens to make one long image. It's almost 350 feet long from end to end, which is gigantic. It would be very hard to just play movies on that screen because of the aspect ratio being so different. So seeing this now, I bet there is a lot of newly created or custom video as opposed to this just being clips like the previous show.

Also.. holy smokes! Those new fountains... How many are there?!

The press release for the new show did say it will feature “all new animation.” I’m reminded of Happily Ever After which features new hand drawn animation that was custom made for the show.

That is the most exciting part (wasn't Frozen a low quality computer generated movie with multiple content doubling and not hand drawn?).

Princess and the Frog, The Little Mermaid, and Aladdin, among others, were the 2D films that got new animation for that show I believe.

Those little nozzles are generally usually for low lying mist effects. But there are so many in a concentrated area with different directions that I wonder how else could they be used.

The old show had 100m of that low fog effect from nozzles just like that according to the Aquatique website. Water screen : water show at Universal Studios, Orlando, USA - Aquatique Show

But they do have a product for mostly smaller installations that use the smaller nozzles as fountains. You can see that here. Musical fountain : Tornado fountain for entertainment and urban projects - Aquatic Show

I think you stumbled across Comcast Executives discussing the new park and what the heck to do with Nintendo.

I would imagine so. Especially with how exposed that position is to being bumped by maintenance boats and such.

Ignore this for a few days, come back and it's like the whole darn thing is almost installed. Got to love how fast Uni gets things done.

Florida has pretty common storms, how will this affect the show? Will it go on in the rain? Light winds? I'm not very familiar with fountain shows.

Does anybody have any idea who’s manufacturing these fountains or is it an in-house thing?

I'm almost certain it's these guys. They did Cinespec's fountains as well as other theme park installations

Water show : Aquatic Show International, water special effects

I could see them or WET Design, considering that WET Design just recently worked with Hollywood on a smaller implementation of a series of fountains for their Citywalk area.

If I had to guess, it's probably ASI.
