Of the three houses I have? Nope.

I can speculate all day long. I’m talking what I’ve been told is coming.

Eh... I find that hard to believe. Sure, they could do it; the bulk of the audition process is numbers on a sheet and your face. There's an intangible quality they can only get from seeing potential scareactors face-to-face though.

Depending on how the online process works, a demo video may be enough to at least acknowledge that someone not local would be a feasible option. If someone looks good, great, have them come down and do a physical audition.

And there’s pretty much no qualifications needed to be a scareactor. Just show up and you’ll more than likely get hired based on the amount of people they need.

For any non-IP house, I'm guess. Anything where the faces need to be close would be the exception.

That's not exactly true. It may vary from IP to IP, but it should be easy for someone to be put into an IP maze.

i guess I left that a little unfinished so I heard what they are doing is inviting x amount of people to come to auditions from the application pool. Will it happen idk. I’m not a scare actor just heard it from a friend who is.

I've heard a rumor two times now. It sounded pretty strange at first but, I don't have any reason to doubt it based on both sources.

Not really. Stranger Things is the first and only IP where they’ve gone to great lengths to cast a house. Normally they just look at your height, weight and if your face vaguely resembles a character. Plus, many characters in IP houses are behind masks/have their face hidden anyway.

Waiting for the first @Legacy clue is my current aesthetic. I am ready for the guessing. (I got in at the very end of the guessing last year, when about half of the houses were already decided. I am excited to actually be a part of all of it this year!!)

I know at the end of auditions last year they did it this way but it was specifically for Stranger Things. They put out an open casting call and you had to submit a head-shot online, if they felt you were a fit they sent a call-back email inviting you to come audition.
