From what I understand it's Reunion auditions first, then public auditions so I am guessing the first week of May will be Reunion auditions.

The first week of May was for reunion auditions. The public doesn’t normally audition until July.

How do you know they're casting for it? People still have to go attend auditions before they can be cast and that won't start until the first week of May. Unless you mean casting is hoping the same people they cast into the roles last year come back for auditions because they intend to re-cast them into the same roles.

My understanding is that the casting for the kid lookalikes specifically is already underway, and that they cast a nationwide net for it. Someone who knows can confirm/deny.

I just saw Escape Room and I think that the rooms would make a very cool house. It could take a Saw: Games of Jigsaw approach where we watch other people be tortured, but in this case we would be watching them experience the escape rooms.

I feel there may be a grain of truth to this but from everyone I have talked to, and from my understanding with how Casting works for HHN, they cannot and will not offer any roles to anyone who does not formally audition which won't be for several more months. They may be keeping an eye on current Universal employees and those people who were cast in HHN28 to invite them to come audition come time. Until we get official confirmation/denial though, anything is possible and stranger things have happened

That could be interesting, very voyeuristic, but my question would be where the scare would happen if we're just watching, but done properly that could be a cool idea.
It'd be neat of they actually had themed escape rooms set up for HHN, but I don't see how they'd be able to make that work, that'd be the ultimate haunted house.

Scareactors don’t know their role until the first night of rehearsals. Furthermore, you can lose your role if you can’t make the orientation with the required hazmat training. I also find it doubtful they’re already offering ST roles.

Eh... I find that hard to believe. Sure, they could do it; the bulk of the audition process is numbers on a sheet and your face. There's an intangible quality they can only get from seeing potential scareactors face-to-face though.

Universal has changed how they are sending out audition emails, but it won’t affect HHN really since all this new system is about is targeting people who fit the profile they’re looking for for certain roles around the resort. I could still go online and sign up for any audition I’m not qualified for though, I just don’t get emails about them.

And there’s pretty much no qualifications needed to be a scareactor. Just show up and you’ll more than likely get hired based on the amount of people they need.
