I don’t think the freezing time one is HDD because going off what Legacy did last year it would probably be a context based clue about repeating something, not time being frozen.

You're focusing on semantics. I'm saying that it's frozen, similar to a computer...it can't move forwards or backwards. AKA stationary, looping.

Eh, to me the R and M example dosen’t fit. It’s people literally unable to move while time is progressing around them. In HDD it’s the people and time itself both moving, but there’s a reset point. When you’re stuck, you aren’t necessarily frozen.

Plus, once time starts again, the people that were frozen in time will continue to keep doing what they were already doing. In HDD, they're always doing something new.

But no one else notices the time loop except for the main character... It seems like it's a reference to multiverse theory, seeing that one of the characters sees a copy of themselves in the trailer. Essentially what might be happening in the new movie is every time the character dies, she's actually dying in that timeline. People move on with their lives after it. For some reason, she's being transported back to her body in a different parallel reality to give it a go in that version of the timeline. Yes, time moves forward but not for her, she's frozen.

You know, if Conjuring weren't off the table, that would've been my guess for the first gif. I was actually thinking how that exact scene would be the clue I would use to hint at Conjuring when you first uploaded the gifs last year.

EDIT: In the first gif, time is frozen. Frozen...you know what else is frozen? Ice cream. The brothers hide in the ice cream truck to stay safe from the explosion. Killer Klowns?
