Sadie, Dustin, Steve, Hopper, and Nancy weren't enemies in ST

Venkman, Stanz, and Egon weren't enemies in GB

Adelaide wasn't an enemy in Us (well..kind of? but she was the main "hero")

But they all still served as a scare in the house.

We have this non-horror debate about properties too much

Fear Factor
Ghostbusters
Stranger Things
Etc.

And, it doesn’t matter in the end anyway. All that matters is if there’s enough strong horror imagery to translate into a successful experience.

The Poltergeist house was "clean" at the ending, but it still gave us a ton of great scares before it was "clean".

(Coincidentally, my house is usually pretty scary until I clean it too...)

I have nothing wrong with HOHH but if they had given a choice between this or Creepshow, I'd honestly pick Creepshow, reason is because they would work with something that has been long-awaited at the event but that's me. The show isn't really horror, more of a thriller with horror elements implemented in it. I mean the show has very predictable scares and such but I could see it being a good house, I'd give it a chance.

As someone who was extremely vocal about disliking Ghostbusters, WTH are y'all smoking by saying HoHH isn't horror? It's one of a very small handful of IPs I would just be excited about as an original.

Gah, people need to stop thinking of horror in terms of jump scares! Besides, relying more on scary imagery is what HHN should do (next time it happens) to better accommodate a conga line.

It's just my opinion man, don't need to take it so serious but I'm just saying the show is alright but to me just doesn't really cut it and that's fine lol, I'm sure it will be a good house, I'm not a lot of expectation for it and I give the cast props that will do it, I'm sure it will be super cool house. Honestly, if I had a choice from them to choose an original or HHOH, I'd pick for a paranormal original house because they would work with more stuff that they would want like they've done with the LT house and Dead End but of course IPs will the large ss.

GB really didn't feel like a scary house or comedy, it was just recreated scenes from the movie and that was fine too, had low expectations for that house too.

Strongly disagree, but opinions and all. Invisible Man is a movie that I think would make for a very weak house though. So I suppose we all have our hot takes.

I gave the film a second watch and it just doesn't sit well with me, I understand what Leigh Whanell was trying to do with the film but it just was eh I guess, I'd rather see the real OG Invisible Man in a second Universal Monsters house, I'm sure we'll have wait till then to see him again but hopefully he'll be apart of this year's anniversary in the zone or something, it would be awesome.

What would catch me offguard would be placement of the speakers in certain houses because some of the houses I would leave with my ears ringing loud lol. Hopper last year definitely got me a few times after especially also because people got pushy last year in the house and I was just became annoyed the rest of the way through.

On the bright side we probably won’t have to deal with that this year if they do decide to pace the houses, I’m probably going to come out spoiled after this year because of pacing.

For whenever it next happens, the most obvious is a basic recreation of the Marvel zone from 15, this time in NY.

Zones at this point are so hard to come up with ideas for. I'd be okay with cutting Plaza going forward.
