No, nothing would be what theyve said the last couple times they were asked: "we're continuing the pause on our new park."

No walk-throughs in the latest plans from what I've heard.

EDIT: Although, enhanced meet and greet for Frankenstein's monster set in the lab could be considered a walk-through maybe?

Was a Frankenstein’s Monster (and I would hope The Bride) the only enhanced meet and greet?

Was there anything special planned for the others?

Maybe Nintendo (if they allow it) into the mix to entertain the kids.

With Luigi's Mansion, E.Gadd, Boo, Dry-Bones in just the Mario lore it'd be a big miss if they didn't.

If Comcast can buy back stock like they announced this morning...it likely means they have the income to restart progress on this park

I do not think that’s a connection one should be making. Companies do buybacks to juice their share prices, not to prove how well the business is currently doing

Yea. Not saying they *don't* have the info they need to start moving forward, but I would not read into that from the stock buybacks

I'd allow it as a positive sign, though, especially if they're buying now given the stock is fairly high. It might indicate that they're more optimistic about the next few months/years than they were a few months back.

Actual positive signs, parks division broke even, despite Hollywood still being closed.

I’m sorry I don’t really get on this thread often so could somebody give me a summary of what could be coming to this park. I know Mario is for sure and I think I heard fantastic beasts, monsters, and how to train your dragon?

Do we have any idea of what the attractions will be like for these lands yet or is it still to early to tell?

Super Nintendo World will be a clone of what came to Japan + a Donkey Kong mine cart coaster. Dragons will have a coaster, play area, splash battle, sky flies, and theater show. Monsters will have a Kuka arm dark ride. There are two TBD attractions in Potter with one set to take place in the Ministry of Magic. In the hub, there's a dueling launch coaster.

Many of these concepts are explained in further detail on Alicia's Youtube channel:

Not much for the parks in today's earnings call. They were pleased that things appear to be getting better despite capacity restrictions and Hollywood still being closed. They broke even if you don't count Beijing's prep costs. And they expect travel to rebound after we get to the other side of vaccinations.

This call was focused on their buyback strategy which they plan to start by the end of this year, and they did not have much else to report on the parks at this time.

Increasing dividends and buyback shows their confidence in being able to dole out cash in a more normal manner. Disney suspended its dividend for basically a year due to all of this, so if Comcast turns the corner sooner, it could be a sign they are looking at hitting the ground for EU as they return to a normal time.

Just guessing, but it seems a tad early for Comcast to make a decision on when to restart. By April, after more vaccine kicks in and the dust settles from the Nov./Dec. virus surge, they should have a better handle on
the future. I'm with @Joe on this and cautiously optimistic that we'll be hearing something in the months ahead, probably sometime in the spring.

Knowing Universal, they'll start building before they announce
