This has really been bugging me for a while...Was there a Casper walk-thru attraction where you got to visit sets and props from the film? I've been looking for pictures and videos of it online, but there seems to be little evidence that it existed (There are pics and vids of a similar attraction at USH). I swear I have vague memories of it, but I'm beginning to think I might just be imagining it. Does any one remember what I'm talking about? Anyone have pics or vids of it? Thanks!

It did exist!

And you can see just a bit of the inside towards the beginning of this video:

I believe like many “visit the sets” attractions of the era that photography was banned or at least frowned upon. Very little footage exists of DHS’s Haunted Mansion movie setup for similar reasons.

Does anybody have a map of IOA before Potter?

More specifically, what was in here?

It is where 3 Broomsticks is. They even kept The Enchanted Oak Tavern's kitchen in the Potter transformation. 3 Broomsticks also serves pretty much the same menu.

Someone in my FB feed shared this earlier this morning, and it really brought me back to all the excitement Universal Studios Florida gave me growing up...

I really think it -- along with Epcot -- used to be one of the best theme parks in existence.

I knew I didn't imagine this lol

Here are some pictures of the old sand timer that used to be in the CityWalk hub

It periodically rotated

I remember seeing this and IOA get built..the anticipation was amazing

Love that hourglass! Weird 90s paint job, but it evokes the same style that IOA’s globe was supposed to have. Shame that it never got built... I think it would’ve added a lot to the entryway plaza.

Question: why remove the entrance arch and build an identical one in its place?
