We moved a bunch of the signs for this ride closer to the door of the shop last week so that's progress.

This'll be a first for Disney. Interested in seeing if they mimic the Universal system of free while riding (and also adding metal detectors).

I think if pockets are mandated to be empty then they have to provide a safe place to put your stuff. It would be the height of folly to try to charge for it.

They have lockers at Kali River Rapids that are free for the first 2 hours. I suspect something similar will be in effect here. The lockers are at the top of the ramp in a building that was previously thought to be new restrooms, I believe.

It'll be interesting to see how folks react to the mandatory lockers here, I see a bunch of people elsewhere hoping for VC's setup, so there's bound to be disappointment there.

Based on this, it would seem they are hinting at a Cast Member preview between April 4-8, 2023 and a grand opening on April 21, 2023. The rest of it is just Tron or Disney parks related historical dates.

Could it really be three months away, still?

I mean, yes, obviously it could. Still seems like it's needlessly drawn out.

Of course it's needlessly drawn out. But with how long this thing has taken, it doesn't surprise me at all that they would continue to draw it out as long as possible.

I wonder if there would be any costs left to shift/carry into the new quarter though?

When you have already taken five years to build a cloned coaster in a box with minimal theming, what is three more months at this point?

Quick research shows groundbreaking February 6, 2018. Thus, it will have been 1,883 days for construction or 5.15 years.
