Perhaps a good question--but is there really a purpose to this thread itself? Feels like something that could be saved more so for the sake of State of USH; rather than being it's own dedicated thread.

That’s a good question. Most of us would agree that a 2nd gate is not in the foreseeable future for the park (potential resort?) I don’t see the harm in being curious about the future, but I get your point.

Understood! Given this, the NBCUE thread (which I long for the day it gets used again xD) and State of USH, it is something I had inheritedly wondered.

I don't really understand how you'd go about rerouting security in the way you guys are proposing. It's been said, but there are way too many access points. This would require a total redesign of how Citywalk operates that I just don't think is in the cards.

As found by Theme Park Wizard, permits have been filed today for an 11 story hotel to be located east of the NBCUniversal lot. I have additionally looked into this and have confirmed it's authenticity. Outside of this, not much is further known on the extents of the potential hotel...
