Had a (solid) $240/night AP rate at Sapphire for the opening weekend of HHN, but came across $200/night at Aventura, so I have decided to make the switch. I just read through my mini-report of my 1-night stay in 2022 (a few pages back). Eager to see how this will compare!

I’ve been up there probably 2-3 times to admire the view, but never grabbed any food or drinks!

May have to hit it right at 3pm before my Strongwater reservation.

Earlier this year I went up there and took a look at the view. It was amazing looking around and seeing where I spent my teens and twenties in that way and just a ton of memories of life.

Great spot to pregame Strongwater, I am hoping to move my flight to get there early enough to see Celestial Goodnight from there on our landing day.

I have a reservation I am trying to extend in October by a day but the website is saying AP rates are no longer available when I try to modify it online and then would essentially triple the total cost of the reservation. I know the general reservation phone number usually just gets me a team member who echoes whatever the website says, is there someone who I could talk to at Aventura who could look into this for me for trying to help me add on a day at the price I booked or just add on the one day full price? Thanks!

I have never added a day on but probably just book the same room type for one night and have them link the reservation at the hotel. Worst case scenario is they have you move rooms.

This is what I did for opening weekend of HHN. I originally made a reservation starting on Thursday but decided to add on Wednesday which would’ve bumped up the price a lot. So I booked a separate reservation for Wednesday and kept checking rates. Just this week, I was able to book a room for my entire stay for $100 cheaper than the 2 separate reservations so I cancelled the 2 original rooms.

Ok I will just keep an eye on the AP rates and see when a good deal populates again. It is for end of October so plenty of opportunities for it to come about again.

I have visited Aventura quite a few times, but I have yet to stay here. I just can't shake the feeling of "this is literally a hospital" lol

Yeah, I wasn’t crazy about the complete absence of theming but finally stayed here for the first time last year and really enjoyed it. It’s very peaceful after long HHN nights and if you get back early enough, their brick oven pizza in the food court is really good. It’s not my first choice every time but I got a rate of $103 for opening weekend which was too good to pass up.
