Celestial Park - General Discussion Thread

It was a multi-day closure

Too add to it, they were still only running 2 trains on each side yesterday and waiting to dispatch the next train until the other one hit final break run, it wasn’t an issue because the park was empty, so waits never got above 20 minutes, but I think this is something to keep an eye on.

Has Stardust run anything more than 2 trains on each side since the start of previews? I think it can do 3-4 but that has seldom been seen, if at all yet.

It’s obviously designed to run 3 on each side for capacity— I’ve only seen it run 2 on each so far.

I’d LOVE a book about the construction of the park. Some backstage info, some concepts that never will be and a background story detailed for Celestial and all it’s rides, stores and corners basically lol. I feel like everything could have an AMAZING backstory and this is so magical. Nothing is there just to be there, it seems like everything has a reason to exist inside the lore

Do we know that the Zephyr Market supposed to be before got scrapped?

Zephyr Market was the original concept, for a food court style quick service. It was canceled and then last minute they submitted plans for the current phase two dining location, which appears to be two restaurants with a shared kitchen and connected dining area. Rather than ordering stations it looks more like Meteor Astropub, which was also designed later in the process, so skips the ordering queue since everything is using mobile order now.

I've heard they are pushing to TRY and have the restaurant open for the holiday season. Apparently they are afraid that there is not enough dining capacity in the park.

The plan has been January, so I guess that’s not too much sooner, but we’ll see.

So are any of the Celestials that were out for media now in the park as part of the entertainment? Or is still the random very normal city park entertainment?

I saw 3 on each side on May 18 (nearing end of previews). They had shut down the ride for a bit to add the additional trains. They specifically made the announcement (I think it was around 4pm), essentially stating the reason was adding the train and after the line would move quicker. Sure enough the ride was essentially a walk on the rest of the night, aside from lockers and metal detectors.

Going this weekend and can't wait!! Can't believe it's already here. I'm defiantly looking forward to this main part a lot. Stardust racers is in my top 3. Any good spoiler free tips I could use this weekend. What was one day turned into 2.

Celestial Park is open...

and to me it doesnt feel unfinished without the ORIGINAL songs with lyrics, ORIGINAL live entertainment, and the Celestians...

At least they appeared 5 days ago, so better then nothing.

And the singers from Noire have finished their time there.

So I was wondering if anyone knows more about the Celestians?

Does anyone have a video about them, or know when they'll return?

and what kind of Celestial lore/entertainment would you like to see in the future?
