I am really excited for cheetaka the new intamin coaster at BGT it should be really intense by the looks of the promo video based on the layout of the track it looks to really keep ahold of its steam and keep going hopefully until the end without letting up on its speed.

It will be all about speed, and according to rumors the top speed is somewhere between 60-70 MPH. But nothing is confirmed on that.

^ i agree with hate to fly i say the avg speed will be around 40-55

Watching the preview videos, it reminds me a lot of Maverick at Cedar Point...very low to the ground, and straight up speed...so far no inversions, but it'll probably have some overbanked turns.

I dig that idea, so many coasters are about height. Would love to go to on a really fast coaster for a change.. This is going to have dual launches? So as soon as you start to slow down you speed up again? Ive never been on the Maverick...does the car actually have to stop before it can launch again, or does it just launch while you are in movememnt?

I think there is supposed to be three launches, one out of the station into the tower, another one in a trench just north of the skyride/cheetaka station, and a final one by the old Rhino Rally water section. And yes they launch while still in movement. Volcano at Kings Dominion is pretty much the same thing it has dual launches so to speak.

Maverick's slows down to the point of almost stopping. But no, it doesn't technically have to, I don't think. I'm really excited for this coaster.

If you pause the clips at the right time, it seems as though there will be inversions, most likely zero g roll and barrel roll inversions like on Maverick.

I've tried, it just shows the first video. I haven't been able to figure out tomorrow's code but after that it's POWER than SPEED.
