Because watching footers be made isn't really exciting. Once Vertical construction begins this thread will be jumping.

I don't think anything will ever come close to Pottermania, unless it's Pottermania Part Deux.

True WWoHP had more buzz for it then IOA before it opened.

But back to Cheetah Hunt....

I've been watching a lot of videos of these Intamin launch coasters, from I305 to the new one at Ferrari world....they all seem pretty fun, but the one thing I noticed in a lot of them is the lack of a lot of WOW moments...they are smooth and fun and full of speed, but Cheetah Hunt looks like a fun coaster, but there are a few dull moments in my opinion as well. Not to knock it too much.

I think this is going to be a nice "change of pace" coaster for the park. They already have three big coasters that do all the other features of great rides.

True...man I haven't been to BGT in soooooo many years. My wife doesn't ride coasters, so that kind of screws me over from going to BGT cause I will feel to bad having her wait for me for pretty much every single ride in the park

Looks can be deceiving, of all the Intamin coasters I have been on not one has disappointed me. There rides deliver great transitions and give air time in places you normally would not expect to get it. While the animated POV does give a great overlook for the ride, I am holding all prejudgment aside from the name until the track starts going in and we can physically see all the angles, drops, and features of the ride.

She can always go to a show or check out the animals. Lots to see and do, that are not coasters, at Busch Gardens.
Stanely Falls, River Rapids, and Tidal Wave are all fun, can't compare them to IOA becuase the water rides at US rule, lots of smaller rides available also.

I also noticed the flatbeds that have been loaded! As of dusk, four of them full of supports and track.

Great shots, hatetofly! This thing has got to be extremely close to going vertical with everything already on site. Once that happens, the anticipation will definitely grow for me.

Definitely. Maverick's statistics aren't particularly "wow"-inducing, but riding it is a completely different thing. It. Is. Intense.

Thanks guys! I'm just really excited to see this thing going up after all the days/weeks/months. Believe it or not but covering this stuff can really wear you out while still trying to maintain a life. Ask some of the other updaters...I'm sure they'd say the same thing.

Doing an update is a lot of work so actually those who say thank you and give compliments really goes a long way. On the last update I did for both Cheetah Hunt and BGT general update I spent between the drive, photography, uploading, and minor touch ups yesterdays update took me about a total of seven or eight hours. For me its a hobby and I really enjoy bringing OU major updates because of the appreciation I get from the Mods and members.

Indeed. It can be quite grueling, especially when you have like 4 different things to update in one night. If I have one of those nights, I usually take a 24 hour break from the site.
