Yeah, the game feels very similar to classic Mega Man, as the original game was developed by the same team. The game heavily revolves around using Scrooge's cane drop attack, which is a lot like the shovel drop in Shovel Knight if you've ever played it. The game's soundtrack is also really incredible, with the classic NES tracks getting remixed by Jake Kaufman (Shantae series, Shovel Knight).

Haven’t played Mega Man or Shovel Knight but Cranky Kong has the same move in Tropical Freeze lol

So I bought the Mickey Mouse Castle of Illusion remake on Steam because it was on a sale that ends today and I’ve always heard good things about it. DuckTales Remastered is also on sale. Anyone here play these games?

Ducktales is fantastic and is generally considered a classic. If you were a fan of the new Ducktales series there was an entire episode centered around one of the stages of the game

Square Enix has been very supportive of the Nintendo Switch, though there has been a catch. The company has been releasing a lot of games but some of them, especially the Kingdom Hearts games…

Is this good? I remember it eternally sitting on the used game shelf for the 6th gen consoles when GameStop still stocked those.

In other news…

Honestly, I’m shocked this is coming to Switch. Thinking about it for a bit it makes sense but this is still a major first party PlayStation IP. This isn’t like MLB The Show where Sony was forced to stop making it exclusive by an outside entity. Also, no Xbox. I guess Sony doesn’t view Nintendo as competition.

Popular leaker Midori just revealed that Kingdom Hearts 4 is slated for release in 2026, one year later than previously believed. I’m a little bit disappointed, but the 7 year gap between KH3 and KH4 is at least better than the 15 years between KH2 and KH3 and I’d rather have them take their time to make an excellent game.

Sounds interesting to bring GTA/other open world concepts into the star wars universe, but I need to see it in action. There's a part of me that thinks this game could be really cringy.
