I’m hearing this is a tent… so I’d expect it to be as “cold” as any other tent house.

I feel like every year we have a "Cold"/Winter house, and everyone hypes themselves up for how cold it's going to be

And then every year it's just the normal AC we have in any house

I felt like they usually kept Galkn pretty brisk last year? Maybe it was just my imagination. But it seems like the AC on the new tents is pretty strong.

Well the HNN spec maps has it in the old tent.

A very welcome surprise. Futuristic sci-fi in the horror genre has always been one of my favorite things to see and I was hoping HHN would take a stab at it after Zyborgs.
This might be my most anticipated house of the year.

Dead Man's Pier: Winter's Wake - HHN 2022.
Legit one of the most beautiful and jaw-dropping houses to date; Walking in and seeing the snow falling and feeling like you could see your breath in the air in front of you is unforgettable to me.

I had hope for Galkn to hit similar vibes last year but it didn't make the "North" part of the title a priority, imo.

EDIT: Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire - HHN 2024, maybe? I don't actually remember that one being cold.

I mean, i get it, even if it's written confusingly.

There are fates worse than death, y'all.
If a megalomaniacal all-encompassing artificial intelligence had the ability to trap you in a living nightmare, kill you, bring you back, kill you again, and bring you back again for 500 years with no inkling of slowing down.... yeah, i think you'd be begging for that sweet release.

As with others, I'm honestly digging the concept of this one. Cybernetic body modifications/horror is something you don't see too often in houses, so I'm all for it!

Though I will say, besides the rumor this is in one of the OG Sprung tents...the concept itself doesn't scream that it would be a "Cold House". The aspect of getting cryogenically frozen is most likely just a transition for the guests between the present and the future, it'll be right at the beginning (Maybe with some fans and a bit of fog) and that's it.

Honestly the last time I was actually cold in a house was Poltergeist. Everything since has just been the same temp with some extra fans thrown in.

The plot of this house is definitely going to happen in the real world one day, right? A company takes everyone’s money with the promise of immortality and then they just cheap out and let AI design something horrific instead.

It almost sounds like a futuristic prank. Bro passed out at the party, so we turned him into a cyborg.

Anyways, this could make for some creative human hybrid characters. I’m very interested to see this house come to life!

Feel like I'm going crazy seeing a lot of people put this low on hype lists. The story, concept and setting sounds like Cyberpunk meets Saws N' Steam meets Terminator with just a hint of IHNMAIMS.

Very excited for this.

I'm particularly excited to see how far they go with the body horror here. Lots of potential for some truly messed up designs and visuals, plus a nice twisted fate for the customers that signed up for the Bio Immortal program- You get your immortality, but at what cost? Is it really worth losing all your senses and bodily functions just to stay conscious in a wasteland?
