Why would the house be called that when you’re not just in a tunnel the whole time?

Because it's a Hollywood exclusive lol...

But we're technically going through a tunnel-like facility, which given its top secret nature, i expect it to be underground once we're fully inside.

I get that, and don’t 100% agree that this was the best choice for a name, but Dead Exposure: Death Valley is also— honestly— a Hollywood exclusive. And a singular tunnel, that the name Toxic Tunnel implies, is very different than any sort of facility is.

Regarding the underground element you’re mentioning, I don’t even think Toxic Tunnel was supposed to take place underground (could be wrong) so that point is kind of irrelevant to the argument that this should’ve been named Toxic Tunnel.

It made sense for that area to be called Toxic Tunnel; it just doesn’t make sense that a house would adopt that name.
