I haven't seen any recent photos of the area. Does SSFL look close to being finished at all?

Along with the Beedo minion, there were two lamps attached to each of the green and yellow flagpoles along with some more work on building up a third mountain in the water-play area. There was a pink water bucket by Fung-Lums but I don't know if it's eventually going to be painted into the FIRE color scheme.

Not really. They still have a few major thematic elements to install.

I'm really excited for this addition. Not for myself, even though I'll love walking through this area at first, but I'm just happy in general that USH is getting SSFL. It's a much much much needed addition.

And the Minion is awfully small....I wonder why that small? Is Universal gonna start a Hidden Mickey type thing with the Minions around the park?

The minion is true size, it's just really far and high up. Also, can I get a confirmation that he is the Beedo minion? When I went Thursday, there must have been some crane equipment still stuck to the top of his head so maybe I was mistaken. It also looks like they're building another structure from the movie: the green monster type thing to the left of the blue mountains.

I don't think so. I think there's a bit of forced perspective coming into play here. Jonathan and Bruce were there in person, so maybe they can give us a more definite assessment.


But looking at these photos, I think that minion is physically smaller than the rest:

In the video of SSFL behind the scenes construction from that other site, the Universal Creative cast member confirmed they'll be building more mountains/structures.

It does seem as if you'll be funneled through a tunnel from the exit for the first month of DM softs.

It is pretty small, but it's that way to enhance the perspective of being high up. Doesn't sell the perspective that well through these photo angles but I'm sure it will look good looking up the mountain.

Well damn! That's awesome haha. Can someone post the large version? It won't load properly on my phone.

Am I the only one that feels that Universal is the one leaking these blueprints to get people talking? It happened so much for the Diagon Alley project, and now for USH....or does someone really not value their job at Universal Creative? Or maybe it's someone from an outsourcing company that is leaking.

These sites typically get these blueprints from a government website. Not a leak, but not something I'd post around either.
