They're holding an employee event with some special previews on February 27. Not sure if the ride will be in operation by then.

I can imagine that Feb 28 or March 1 (the day Waterworld closes for refurb) will be the first tech rehearsals.  Hmmm  Coincidence???  Never.

Walls should be coming down next week on the main facade, so maybe?

With the exit still placed in front of SSFL which is most likely still a hard hat area I'd be wary.

I'm really happy we're getting SSFL. It'll be as if we never even lost Curious George/Nickelodeon, as it will be a water AND dry play area, plus spinner.

I wonder if on the park map and on the info boards if they'll advertise Super Silly Fun Land as one attraction, or list the spinner and the play areas separately.

Very good question. I imagine they'll have a board for the Spinner since It's almost guaranteed to have a huge standby wait time.

Left Side (Shows/Misc):

Waterworld, SES, Animal Actors, Shrek, Blues Brothers, Dino Play, SSFL Play Area

I really do not understand why everyone hates this precious thing. Overall, I'm glad they're bringing in the second movie into the attraction/area compared to Orlando which is very Movie 1-heavy.

Ahhhh that's awesome! Beedo Minion will probably be the warning countdown for water release similar to the old Nickelodeon Rocket countdown! This is gonna be awesome!

The only addition I was really hoping that we'd get for our ride (which obviously isn't happening) would be the addition of Lucy somewhere in the ride or queue, only cuz she makes the family complete! Would've been smart, considering she's in the second movie and will be in the third movie, and not having her in the ride or queue kinda really dates the attraction automatically IMO. Oh well! Maybe they'll throw in a full family picture with her somewhere in the queue.

Once the walls go down, it's days rather than weeks that we'll be able to ride. They seem to be only keeping them up more for SSFL rather than the ride itself.
