You must have missed the Shake Shack logo. Cause that is definitely the best business on there. The food is so delicious.

Meh. I don't go on vacation to go to a chain.

But no vacation is complete without a stop in at the local Walmart :pound:

I actually like hitting regional chain restaurants like In-n-Out Burger when I am vacationing.

100% agreed. I actually sort of looked forward to hitting up regional places for my meals when I went out to Cali for the first time.

I like regional chains and also local places when on vacation. I still will go to the occasional fast food for time sake, but we mainly try places we can't go to where we live. Myrtle Beach has some great local chains we always hit up. I am excited for some of the places listed, because many are not in Orlando yet and as a local we could use some new places.

But Sam's isn't a club. Far from it. It's really just a bar/grill type setup. And it'd be VERY hard to value engineer something like Sam's. It's incredibly simple. Effective, but simple.

Bar/club, I think they want out. I really think they'd ditch the shops if they could make it financially viable.

And there's always a way to go cheaper. <shudder>

Huh? Disney runs MANY bars on property and even still operates Jellyrolls and Atlantic Dance Hall. Trader Sam's is in no way even close to a club. As I said, Disney runs bars all over the resort - this would be nothing new.

Agreed 100%. Sam's is the exact kind of establishment they'd love to run. Low costs, high profit.

Yeah I have to agree with you. Also don't understand the "they'd ditch the shops" comment either. Why would any theme park looking to make money ditch the shops that make money. They love when people spend money on merchandise!!!!

Orlando weather + annoying children + bars for the parents=$$$$$$$$$$$

Even TDO can understand that's a solid business plan.

You must not have eaten at a Shake Shake. I've eaten at the original location in Madison Square Park and the line for food goes well over an hour or two. Even at the new locations here in Miami, the lines are incredibly long, but the food is worth it.

I've seen some rumbles on twitter tonight that Disney may announce their Downtown Disney plans.

Kidding, of course.

I'd welcome any kind of news. Even if it was just adding one new bar/food spot.

Any of our insiders happen to have any knowledge as to where the announcement, if it is actually being held tomorrow, will be, and when?

Apparently it was said on The Hub that it would be today. I would assume they weren't lying. It said morning, so we should be hearing soon
