I know its a different park, but Disneyland Mondays and Tuesdays are now busier then weekends because the tickets are cheaper and people assume they will less busy

And we've been seeing this kinda thing for years. I was working at Disneyland when all of a sudden October weekends were much busier than your rank and file summer day. People respond to crowd patterns, even more so when there's a price difference involved. But yes, they're going to have to do something about shade / air conditioning at some point or we're going to see the summer period fully hollowed out.

Also people just have much more data to work on to infer whether they're going to have a good time on a given day, so unless there are hard limits on what times they can go to the park, they're going to select for days that are "typically" less busy, which ultimately becomes a self-defeating pattern when those days become the new busy days.

When it comes to Disneyland, I think Disney has also given locals a lot more reasons to visit during the Spring and Fall, working under the presumption that summer crowds will always be busy irrespective of any special offerings.

and...there is still the fact that overall attendance is still sort of the resort attendance in the 2015 to 2019 period.
