If consumers reward this behavior, which they will, this will cause even more segmentation of content and cost everyone more money in the long run. In 5 years everyone will be paying $60-$100 a month between a number of streaming platforms, none of which will be seamlessly integrated together and we'll be worse off then when we all had cable. Greedy capitalism at it's finest.
This isn't about a new option for a streaming service, this is about taking all of their content, and not letting any other services have access to it. Which will inspire other companies to do the same.
