I'm assuming since they need to sell tickets to that thing it's most likely when we'll hear any news. If any.

Yeah I'd imagine hats when they will announce the Studios resurrection and if nothing changes the death of Avatar. I'd personally rather see additions to Epcot btw but probably gonna have to wait another 2-3 years for anything to even start.

That means we get a decade+ between whatever comes of this and Everest.

We're gonna have a decade whether they start it tomorrow or next year. They will drag out any of these planned projects over a minimum of 3 fiscal years. Heck I could see the MGM project being a five to 6 fiscal year investment.

We need to start up one of these petitions to make Disney spend money in Orlando, on things aimed at people over the age of 9, and build them in a reasonable amount of time.

Have you actually riden a Vekoma Family Suspended Coaster (rumored to be the ride system for the MI Door Coaster)? It is possibly the most painful kiddie coaster on the planet.

Besides that, the coaster isn't really all that much to it. It'd be SDMT but suspended.

Personally, I feel that Disney has overused the Omni, I want something a little more creative and new.

In theory Ratatouille would be trackless if it's cloned.

It looks like this Monster Ride they have planned could swap between a track on the bottom and a track up top. Kind of like Winnie the Pooh turning into Pan halfway through. I think that would be sufficiently unique, especially if the hanging (warehouse?) sections sped up a bit.

Well I'm just gonna come out and say it. Meg Crofton + DLP = Trackless vehicle budget cut. If it got approved by the miracle of god then TDO would cut the crap out of it and make it an Omnimover. That is unless our new president grows a pair...
