Didn't know they were taking down the water tower...are they putting it back up somewhere else?

Amazing what can be accomplished in one night. It will probably take them 6 months to put it back up.

Nope, it's gone forever sadly. It doesn't fit with the new narrative there trying to build for the park.

Even if they put a tower somewhere else it'd be a totally new one, way cheaper and easier.

Agreed. I roll my eyes when I hear people say they miss the hat or when I see posts on facebook about it.

Olaf M&G opened in the former American Idol audition space today: PHOTOS - Meet Olaf in the new Celebrity Spotlight at Disney's Hollywood Studios

New Mickey/Minnie M&G set to open within the next week as well (which will open the door to clearout/demo the former Sparrow Soundstage, as Mickey currently meets there).

I was two days shy of this. My daughter really liked Olaf, only character in Frozen she likes. We were at DHS on Monday. Luckily we plan to go out for the Star Wars Launch Bay since my husband has not seen it, the Star Wars Fireworks (none of us have seen it), and Disney Jr because my daughter wanted to do it on Monday and my friends didn't. So we will hit this at the same time.

See the current SW Fireworks while you can as imo they are the best on property. The show is being replaced in the coming away for a new SW show with projection tech.

When are they being replaced? I thought they were staying for the summer, is this not the case?

There's no official word from Disney when the new show is debuting, it's more of a "when it's ready" type of thing as they had to build completely new barges across World Drive for the show that aren't done yet. Also projection mapping systems that still aren't done as well. I'd say the current show will run until sometime in June (maybe longer?), the Parks Blog will announce something beforehand though.
