Apparently, WB contracted Flanagan to make a sequel to Doctor Sleep called "Halloran." That's probably canned now, or HBO Max without Flanagan as a director at the very best :/

I bought the Directors Cut Blue-Ray for like 12 bucks on sale a few months back. A really good film, I get it won't be for everyone but the premise I really enjoy and like Cobra Kai or The Blade Runner Sequel somehow is a sequel for an older film that isn't crap.

Definitely watch the Directors cut, it has a lot more material with young Danny (played by the son of former Orlando actor Roger Floyd, who is now in Doom Patrol)
