Epic Universe Ticketing Info, Advice, & Speculation

So am I the only one on here not even attempting this right now? lol

No hurry for me. I'm reluctant to purchase date sensitive tickets, that can't be refunded, that far in advance of going in late 2025. Never know what will happen between now and then...Example: I had the first two weeks of next month at Portofino. Two weeks ago I broke my leg and hip, so I had to cancel. My tickets are AP, and not date bases, so at least I didn't lose anything. Early enough to cancel hotels....But a lesson there on buying non refundable stuff.

I am not in any queue's atm but mainly because I had already decided to wait til 2026 when the full access passes come out and the madness will have calmed down a bit

I just said f it and went through the USF gate to inside guest services and got it there, didn't take long in person at all. (Opening day was sold out for UOAP single day tickets, so we got Memorial Day /26th)

Most all the I-Drive hotels (Universal or not) are pretty much filled up already for that week.

I’ll be going In September, so I’ll be holding out hope for some kind of 2 day epic universe park option. I think I’m at a point where I do not expect an AP upgrade to happen by then. Honestly the one day tickets were a little cheaper than I was expecting so I will not have an issue paying for 2 single day tickets if it comes to it.

This is my plan. We're planning for September during HHN, so the hope is that by early next year we'll be able to get 2-day tickets for Epic.

I’m not an AP holder and I don’t want to buy a 3 day pass. So I’m still waiting. Have my hotel reservations though. I’m not going until October , so im not too worried.

Would never want to go opening day / week. However I “get it” and I’m sure it will be a memorable experience .

Really curious if Express will actually be available , and what rides will
Even offer it.

They say that Express for Epic will go on sale before the park opens. They don’t specify what day it will start, so may not include opening week for all we know, but it will go on sale before May 22.

Went ahead and just got a ticket for the 23rd. I'll try at some other point to get in for Opening Day, even up to just heading to the ticket booth on the 22nd and praying haha.

It's crazy that we're already here! Epic is feeling closer than ever.

Couldn't snag an AP single-day ticket for opening day, so I'll be waiting for when they go on sale for the general public. There's also a chance spots open up in the coming weeks/months. Interested to see how Universal handles AP previews.

Once single-day tickets drop for everyone, I think I'll be good to go.

On hold for 100 minutes this morning, get on the line to buy a pass for my 4 year old, renew mine and my wife's, and buy tickets for us 3 and my mom/brother (5 total). As I'm trying to finalize the card information, the line dropped and never got called back. Absolutely brutal.

We aren't going until late September, so I'll wait until next week at this point. Is there any worry that we won't be able to get tickets the last week of September? HHN, sure, but no holidays or anything big that week

I feel confident in saying that today’s craziness is due to everyone trying to get entry within the first couple of weeks

I’m sure they’d make exceptions for things like this or even worse.

Same problem I was having then I called right at 7:30 when they opened.

If previews are also sold I think I’ll just stick to my opening tickets. I spent enough as it is.

I don’t know… having exclusive and likely less crowded park access before the majority of the GP is an awfully big perk. Would be hard to resist if I had an AP.
