There's no way they'd have THREE full Summer seasons of park guests peeking thru construction walls at this thing. This has to open this Spring.

Right. This isn't taking forever because none of the construction guys on hand can find the right end of screw driver, it's because it's supposed to take this long. I'm sure Disney wants this off the books by the summer, because they planned it that way. They will push to keep their meticulously planned, over-complicated budget.

And when you see the "OMG! SOFT OPENING TODAY! posts out there: NO!

There are still safety rails and scaffolding up on the mountain.

And no cast members have been hired for the opening team. People are dumb.

They put out an internal notice for hiring last week, so they are getting ready.

Well yeah, but the point is, it's not opening anytime soon.

That's insane that they haven't even interviewed people for it yet. I would think in theory you'd already want those people in there cycling and training.

Reading some twitter reports:

- They are cycling trains. At least one has weights in it. The extra weight does increase the swinging motion.
- There are time lapse cameras set up in the area for film to be used in opening PR.
- CM told @aaronspod a May opening, possible no CM previews.

Well it certainly looks nice. Also, you get a beautiful view of the Beast's castle from up there

Isn't the guy that did Push going to work there or is he put out with the trash?

That is beautifully finished... at least a few real trees around the perimeter. I am somewhat surprised that the barrier support posts don't sink into the ground but merely float above it. Perhaps they are confident the plantings will cover that up.

I can't believe they are getting rid of Push... Very disappointing, it couldn't have cost that much to keep him roaming the parks.

It does look beautiful. Sure, the ride itself is probably only a true D quality if that, but the outside of the attraction is themed very nicely and will create a significant upgraded look for the Fantasyland area. After all, it is the kid's area of the park, so I never expected a Universal level E ticket thrill experience on the actual ride. Hopefully the ride is not as short as it looks like it might be.
