The theme park vloggers and Twitter would surely take that well and respond in a rational, reasonable way without creating ten minute clickbait videos with attention grabbing thumbnails where they make dumb shocked expressions accompanied by giant red circles around nothing while sporting sensational titles like IS THIS THE WORST THEMED UNIVERSAL RIDE EVER?!?? that draw comparisons to Disney and talk about how Universal has fallen off, cheaped out, and doesn't know how to decorate a ride and will probably close in a year due to their complete creative bankruptcy.

...I really wish that was hyperbole.

This was kind of already discussed here... but basically, everyone is anticipating a LOT of testing for this ride. Not only is it a new technology to California and all of it's standards, but it's suspected it will need all kinds of sound testing due to the residential in the area, with numerous adjustments needing to be made before it opens. Most of us are thinking it will test for months.

Apart from all the coaster testing, the original Fast and the Furious film released in summer of 2001.

I can see Universal Studios having a massive 25th anniversary marketing push, culminating in the grand opening of the coaster, the release of Fast 11, and a big rerelease of the original in theaters.

To prevent erosion it'll likely be a mix of grass and other plants. The problem with a hard surface like pavement is it reflects sound easily and we know Universal is going through a lot to try and muffle sounds from the riders and coaster as much as possible. Greenery works well for soundproofing too.

Some light sandblasting to the face sounds great for exfoliating the skin.

I’m so excited to eventually see what the nighttime lighting package is for this. The hillside is gonna pop! And wondering, since we’ll be in “cars,” if they’ll have that underglow effect on them like the earlier movies.
