True, but story wise we are muggles who don't have magic, we are mere spectators, same with F&F it seems.

Theme parks use illusions to fool people in various ways. F&F will be fast and furious but that doesn't mean the ride vehicles have to go over 15 mph.

Yes but as spectators shouldn't we be able to keep up with the high speed chase with real speed ?

Yes I understand that it's just with a name like Fast and Furious and watching all the movies I feel like it would be only right to use real speed and still combine with with other elements

I'm still amazed Universal managed to send us Back to the Future using a real time machine and no-one cottoned on.

Not necessarily, we are just in the right place at the right time, see them coming from behind, they pass us, there is some damage and then we see them disappear. So you can easily be a spectator to a fabulous car chase without going fast yourself, since you are just caught in a little moment of it.

Ah, that was low... It was a good analogy he gave.

It might be fun, but the amount of land being used for this thing when it sounds like Transformers is brutal. It goes deeper than this ride itself, but a glimpse of what UNI sees as the future for their rides if they're investing this much land for "this" type of attraction. Minions, Simpsons, Transformers, Fallon, and now F&F is a lot of the same. There's always Nintendo.

I didn't include Gringotts because it feels like a real experience simulators will never achieve.

Can I borrow your time machine to go ride F&F?

Also, comparing Transformers and F&F to Simpsons/Minions made me roll my eyes more than normal, so congrats.

I'd contribute to the screen discussion, but I don't want this thread to veer even more off topic... should we move this to the screen thread?

I think for something really fast you would need a lot more land.
