If you read back in this thread. Some people "who are in the know" have stated, this is pretty much a clone from the Universal Hollywood ride with a big queue. If it is indeed just that, what a bummer right. BTW welcome to the forum.

It's more than a clone, but you're not getting real speed.

Wow I'll be really upset if that's all they can come up with but I read somewhere I think that it will have an original story line because the Hollywood version is cool for a tram tour but for its own attraction they have to go all out with this one I would think

Yes it will be different from the Hollywood version, but it will still be "tram" like cars that are used. It will be a slow moving ride that simulates speed. The "trams" will hold large amounts of guests. Similar to Kong which holds 72 guests. So while the story line may be different it will be the same tech that is used in the Hollywood version.

I really hope you guys are wrong about this because with the way that their going with new rides in the park it would almost be like moving backwards

I didn't say it was going to be good or bad, but every insider seems to agree it is going to be more like Kong ride system than anything that can have actual speed. Unless you know of something that changed recently with this ride. So I was just stating that it would be slow moving and not fast like Gringotts.

It'll still be a good analogy. Harry Potter feels like real magic but it isn't. Fast & Furious will feel like real speed, but it won't be.

For me the same system as Kong was kind of a let down since Kong is so new. Also, I could care less about the IP, so again, another downfall for me. Do I think it will be a bad ride? I don't know, only time will tell on that one. I keep an open mind for any new ride until I ride it. Which is why I basically stated facts from the rumors vs. opinion of what it would be when done. I just don't know how it will be once I ride it.

I don't think it'll be bad, but even the average guest may be a tad mislead. When a tourist hears F&F attraction, they are going to expect speed.
