Looking at things yesterday, the Ghirardelli is just too friggin long on the east side. That should stop after two awnings and begin a new unique building. What they do with the sign at the top is their problem. Look at how dull this street is in that area. Wall-O-Brick.

And the cypress trees... what's with that? I am not aware of any cypress growing in San Fran. Regardless, they're ugly as sin...

Perhaps they could move the Ghiradelli sign to be on top of Richter's.

What exactly did you measure to come up with 144K? If it was the whole block then I don't believe that is what is happening here.

I was told that the bathrooms (typical) are staying and so is the brick works building at the far end. There is more that will not be built upon, but that is enough for now.

I'm all for this! Honestly, having ridden Supercharged about 7 or 8 times now, I can say that the entire thing just...ends. There is no momentum, if you blink you miss it. "Ride or die", boom, your done.

All I'm saying is, some post-chase festivities would be so much better than the opening. Honestly, they may make it a clone and people in LA do cheer at the end of the ride, but I haven't heard one person compliment the opening party or the horrid dialogue/acting in the videos leading up to it. Just pure awful, so I can't see them keeping that. On the flip side...will Universal fork over the bucks to get the cast back again? I certainly hope so.

Now that's the kind of thinking that I appreciate. I wonder those tiny details myself. I believe some of it can be dubbed imperceptibly from other takes. (there were multiple versions in the shooting script - some less outrageous than others). Good thinking to work with what you have to make it better.

Yeah, that is exactly what I would have done too. They are leaving themselves a ton of room to make this pretty from what I have heard. And like Gringotts, there is an extended queue under the stars. I wouldn't be surprised if Brick Works becomes the gift store but I do not know this.
