It's a pisser when that happens, especially for new riders. I have been on spider-man when the projectors failed to be triggered for an entire scene. It totally disrupts its great pace. FJ on the other hand... I think I would just find it fascinating. :)

I''ve rode Spider Man many dozens of times. Never had a problem until once on this past trip. The problem started innocently enough where Doc Ock freeze framed for an instant in the first gun scene. Then it was fine for the next three scenes. Then the sound went out for the remainder of the ride and the scenes went from frame to frame where it would freeze a frame for a while, then play OK for a moment or two. It kept going through that same progression for the rest of the ride. Freeze frames alternating with regular movement. It was crazy.

We got stuck right at the FJ Dragon head a couple of years ago. For 10 or 15 minutes it spewed smoke and heat in our faces. That was really tough.

At least Universal has a policy of letting people re ride when something big goes wrong. Happened to me last trip when I got stuck on Spider-Man.

Yeah, they're great like that. I've re-ridden Transformers and Spider-Man a handful of times just by mentioning a glitch to a TM.

It doesn't go upside down! At most, you were laying on your back. Silly.

Frivolous lawsuit, they will just end up owing the attorney a lot of money.

Yeah, 89 minutes of fluff and 1 minute of something so unspecific it could be referring to just about anything.

I have never listened to his"posts?" but I only offered that based on what people have repeated on here. I could never duplicate his parks talk as I don't follow Disney at all. I could care less about their upcoming projects.

He never really says much of anything. And his few informative statements seem more like guesses than anything. I've listened to a few podcasts these past few years. Never again. Just a complete waste of time. And his track record is not very good. He guesses in the neighborhood. I could do that myself, make up stuff, and have a better record. :)

I know, but try telling that to a wife who (at the time) was terrified of going upside down on a coaster. Now she thinks everything is "tame"

If you'd said 2 I would have said it was the people on with us who had to listen to my wife scream at me all the time we were stuck

It doesnt technically go upside down. But if you were laying on your bed and someone lifted the matress at your feet 2 feet then you would be in about the same position as this ride gets. Which I could imagine would rush all the blood to your head in 1 hour you would be very very angry ... and dizzy.

One of the last times I rode FJ the Bench attendent pushed my restraint all the way down on me. I am 6'5". It was so painful that when I got off I almost complained. I could barely move my arms.

I am only 5'11 and I sometimes have something similar on coaster with the over the shoulders harness, they push it down to much, causing too much strain on my shoulders, then, I like my restraints on the loose side to begin with.

For sure I can relate. I would much rather have it a little on the loose side. But sometimes on a coaster youve never rode youre thinking "lock this thing down tight!". However on FJ ive never felt the need for it to be tight... I also had my AP on my neck tucked into my shirt and when he locked it down it was sticking right into my stomach...

I hate that when the attendant pushes the restraints down further than I have it. It makes it really uncomfortable & is completely needless. I know my comfort level better than they do.

Lockers are still an absolute nightmare. If they don't expand them, they need to develop a reliable way to ensure only one member of each party enters the locker area when possible. Such a huge negative for a fantastic attraction.

Long line to get into the castle/lockers this morning (only 45 min posted wait). They usually let me skip it when I tell them I'm going single rider with no bags, but not today :l
