Since when does pissing people off through your stand-up routines make it ok to premeditate violence with a knife and a replica handgun? The guy is lucky the LAPD didn't shoot him.

We never lived in a time where people could say things without violence being an option. Dave Chappelle has a repeated history of punching down (its funny how everyone forgot how homo and transphobic his last netflix special was)...you bully someone to a certain point, they are going to snap. Doesn't matter if its a comedian. All I'm saying is I don't know why everyone is acting shocked and surprised and tying it to Will Smith/Chris Rock. He was not the first person to be attacked on stage and likely this will continue to happen.

This is a separate incident.

There was a bad example set by a high profile figure and also a lack of punishment, which the average person will not receive that benefit of the doubt.

Just went back and removed all times I referenced it in any context during this time. I am unaware of another time i've said anything after Brian said not to.

This is about a comedian who had someone rush the stage on him with a knife. I'd hope that even someone who dislikes Dave because of his recent special could realize that this is unacceptable and as I said, since he was carrying a replica gun, he's lucky he didn't get shot.

What I posted there was an actual update to the situation, ie his suspension.

There’s a difference between posting a situational update and just talking on it for the sake of talking about it, nor do I consider it as discussing the topic. Just providing an update similar to how we have construction updates at the parks.

Got it, thanks for explaining it to me. I got confused seeing your continued commentary on the subject and thought something had changed, I didn’t realize posting updates meant that conversation on the topic would stop.

No one...and i mean NO one is making you or anyone else watch him

Unless you watch Dave specials you can easily never hear about his stuff, the internet has a million news stories at once, local news, world wide news, media news and so on. If you dont like him block him but he's not going up to random people and harassing them

The man had a knife and was going to kill him over jokes....
Also if people watched him like South Park, Family Guy, Daniel Tosh and other more "mean" joke tellers he attacks everyone...every race. If people want to be equal then take a joke and if you don't like it turn it off but there are real people out there that Do real harm to Trans people including Politicians,

But attacks like this will only increase security, making shows cost more does anything thing Dave is going to stop telling the jokes he wants to?

Saw the Bob's Burger Movie

It is basically a long episode from the show. Fans should like it and not sure how none fans will feel able it

My only issues with it...are the music are kinda meh and the plot sometimes gets in the way of the heart of the show which is the family loving each other and being funny together

Sounds like the typical trappings of when tv or animated shows get theatrical releases.

South Park to me is still king and part of the reason was they made a film before they got big

Like the South Park music, I think could work in a musical and think because the side characters weren't as big it wasn't like you were missing out on any of your favorite characters

This movie is great, almost as good as simpsons movie but sadly think the plot holds back the joke time and if they hired someone to help give them some better songs think it could have beat the simpsons movie

Oswald is PD next year and Steamboat Willie is PD in 2024. Bit by bit versions from shorts and film will become public. Fantasia Mickey goes public in 2035.

However, there’s been so many versions of Mickey over the years that they will always own some version of the character exclusively. Basically, anytime his look changes or he dresses different than usual, it’s considered a new Mickey, so not all Mickey’s go public at once, but other studios being able to use the name Mickey Mouse will cause Disney enough headaches.

Public Domain concerns are part of why I remember that they went with the most recent (Paul Rudish created) iteration of the character for Runaway Railway. That version of Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy, Daisy, Pluto, etc, etc was created in 2013 and completely rejuvenated the character, so they won’t go public until 2108.

One of half a dozen GOT spin offs in development but this has me interested as I found the Jon Snow story ending less satisfying that some of the other character arcs.
