Could something have possibly been added to (rather than cut from) the budget?

Because several insiders on Magic and elsewhere have been pretty adamant that there would be no animatronics.

Call me crazy, but I remember part of the pre-show from the ride was supposed to be practical with the Milano, Quill, Gamora, and Groot. Did I imagine this?

It could just be that sources are being more selective about the information they give out as well.

I mentioned to some on here I heard about an AA when they all didn’t, I know someone who no longer works for the company, so they could’ve misspoken but maybe this is more of a surprise for insiders?

I, of course, could also have bum info.

There it is, maybe EW assumed and Disney was like “oh no not for this ride sorry guys”

Just when I was ready to give Disney some credit on this attraction.

Slinky Dog is outdoors and has two animatronics but your super expensive indoor coaster doesn’t… bit of a head scratcher.

I think there are going to be some animatronics in the queue/pre show. That’s where Disney usually puts them for newer rides.

I think any AAs would be wasted for the bulk of this ride.

Everest set the tone that stationary AAs do just fine.

Yes. They seem to be, but with less soul. Not even a biased take, just feels that way genuinely and I don’t want to!

Well of course it depends on whether the attraction is screen based or not. FOP as well as Smugglers Run are good examples of what I’m talking about.

I believe the queue is going to be similar to the one at Mission Breakout in DCA.

...I guess I was the only one that was expecting the coaster portion to be screen based

I think most people have been expecting that.

Some of us were hoping there might be more intricate and impressive show elements to justify the gigantic building and the gigantic price tag.

I must have missed hearing her warning, but I guess that was my fault for prioritizing my nap

I wasn’t really expecting any AAs , except maybe in the queue. If the ride is “fun” or “thrilling” it will be forgiven. Epcot desperately needs rides that are either.
