I heard it was minimal. Wanted it done her way or the highway. Turned out better than most Corp decisions on any theme park. JMO
And I will say again, the most brilliant, maybe never to be repeated, use of an IP. Meaning the 2 park connection.

This isn't an opinion thing here. She's paid well for her services and use of her characters. And she doesn't approve every drawing or design detail.

:whiteflag:I could be wrong. Maybe it's just the merch she gets a part of. But the deal was not driven by money. Maybe? why it's so good?
trying to find a link for ya
And my opinion is that the 2 park move was/is brilliant. Few would differ I'm sure.

Just to bring this up, the Hogsmeade coaster got re-confirmed, and that it's being touted as "one of the most themed coasters ever"

Press event for Drupercharged, considering that tonights the big media celebration.

They also re-confirmed the Lagoon show and also announced in a Q&A portion that Beijing will have to deal with Drupercharged.

Many others have already pointed out coasters that do this, but so does Gringotts and Everest (though not 60*). It's a common element enough that it shouldn't be an issue.

I think that Karnan has a hold at 90 degrees, goes backwards a little, and is then the lift engages and takes you over the top.

Does anyone have a redrawing of what that track could look like now that we have more supports in place. I know they aren’t all completely built, but it’s more than we had back when the original track design was drawn. I may have seen some pictures 2 or three pages down of a boomerang, Mr. Freeze kinda speculation based upon the large slightly tilted support. Just wanted to know if anything in the track design has majorly changed.

Here was the original mock up of the design. I’m guessing it has changed?

Here it is again for easy reference. The very end turn is a little off, but it’s probably fairly accurate otherwise.

So good:thumbsup:, and so important to the discussion. You should probably repost this once a week to keep the new readers up to date.

Next time Bio does an aerial update we’ll get a new one with more detail, and hopefully some more elements thrown in.

Does he mean ornamented, or the quality? Theming is binary. You can't be more themed. You can be themed or unthemed on a scale of well themed to poorly themed.

But you can't be "most themed".

I think they're going more for how coasters like Grizzly Mountain, Everest, Taron, and Big Thunder are highly themed and blending into their environments, rather than being ornamental.

Ya, I hope that is not a direct quote. It must have been a mis-quote from Orlando Informer.

It's like saying Drupercharger is the Most Ride or F8 of the Furious is the Most Movie.

It's barely English, but probably fitting for the event.

That said, getting back to how immersive the coaster is, with everything that has been seeming to be coming, this really is Universal's attempt at besting Disney at Grizzly, which to me, I would call the superior version of Big Thunder and Everest. It incorporates the best elements of the three attractions, has it low to the ground, and that it blends so damn well into the environment.

Not to mention that we seem to be getting exterior AA's (along with Interior ones), and tons of other things that haven't been discussed, this really seems like the attraction that may be blowing the water for 2019.

I would love to be proven wrong, but this attraction excites me to no end.

As much as i'm excited for this, i'll be surprised if this is the best thing to open next year. This project is certainly exciting, but if it ends up better than SWGE, Disney did something wrong.
