I've missed that venue, glad to have it back, but will be sad if this means we don't get SS12 back. So much history and possibilities wasted on that one time opportunity on freakin Bloodlines lol

Best case scenario we get both and it ends up being 9 houses + Tram. Is it likely? Idk. But it should be. Who knows.

I’m leaning more towards this being the replacement venue for the sound stage…which is unfortunate, but if the rumor is true about Scream coming, a sound stage would be kind of excessive. It’s going to be weird seeing the JP venue come back.

I think this is unlikely but there is also the other side of the coin: what if this is for a ninth house? It could explain why we’re getting two repeats this year.

What I want to know is where is the line gonna go?

Yeah I'm really hoping it's this. Like I said before, best case scenario. It would be funny too with all those rumors that Orlando was increasing their house count that in reality it was actually Hollywood the whole time doing an additional house lol. Also question for everyone who's experienced a house in the JP/JW tent, what makes this location different? What makes it special I guess? I've been going to HHN Hollywood since 2021 so I haven't done a house in this location yet so I'm curious to hear about it from the veterans who have. I've seen POVs obviously but I want to hear about it from y'all.

Having gone through all of the houses in that venue, I’ve gotta say I don’t think there’s anything special about it in and of itself. I think the biggest draw of that venue coming back is that it will feel like stepping back in time to pre-Covid HHN.

Yeah, I think it's hosted some great houses and it'll feel very nostalgic to be back down there again but I'm not sure the venue in and of itself is why those houses were great. I honestly can't believe it's been that long since we had a house down there.

Another question for you guys: based on the IP rumors, what IP (or maybe even original?) do you guys think will go in this location? It's a tough one lol.

AWiL in that venue rocked, and so did Halloween II. I feel it could’ve come back ages ago, Murdy is even a huge fan of it. Even after JW opened, its extended queue wasn’t always utilized past its debut year.

Didn’t someone call it the “Supernatural” venue once?

Have been told by a friend that SS12 seems to have a house configuration occurring in it—can be wrong but don’t count it out just yet for HHN.

If that’s the case though, the lineup does this:

9 Houses
1 Terror Tram
3-4 Scarezones (depending on if they wanna keep the amount steady with the addition of the one I front of Hogsmeade)
2 Live Shows

That would put us finally back at 2019 level.

Wow, so 9 houses is actually a possibility this year. I know last year didn’t burst the seams with crowd levels, so I’m a little surprised they’re adding a house this year.

I’m kinda mixed. I felt like 8 + the tram was perfect. I think having 9 + the tram is pushing it a little bit. I guess having a repeat won’t be awful because there’s going to be a LOT to do in one night.

But the question is even more relevant now: If they’re using stage 12 AND the JW queue then where is the line for the JW house gonna go????

If there’s going to be 9 houses one might as well kiss the Poltergeist “2.0” dreams goodbye lol

Twisted Thrill on 365 Discord did a speculative guess on how they could do it—and the key might be with Super Nintendo World.

If they could use it as a Potter to H-Lot, they could have SS12 and Jurassic share queue space depending on how they balance the area. It’s flawed, but it would make sense with SNW opening this year for FFN, that it should be on the table now for HHN.

Not a knock on him whatsoever, but if you’re going to use stage 12 for queue space….then…just….use the stage for the house! Doesn’t make any sense IMO to use the stage for queue space when it can be better used for a house.

I think the idea is to have it setup like SS15 where they use some of the SS as a queue and then the rest for the house.

If I remember correctly, they only tried VQ because of the hillside falling apart. That was the year they had to install the steel beams to hold up the retaining wall. So they were prepared to use the VQ since they couldn’t use the full queue until the beams were installed. It’s been a couple of years, but I believe that was the case.
