Hmm... Well the official description of the scarezone that year says "Unsettling and unnatural sounds fill the night air. Lanterns cast flickering light and shadow on a twisted landscape. Herein dwell bizarre creatures celebrating the Harvest of the Souls. Within these shadows creep the soul harvesters in search of souls to quench their insatiable thirst." Could be onto something.

This is a really good guess. You at least recognized it could be the name of a fictional character.

Unless the U.K. media event was around August 9th then you're confusing yourself. If it was around this time last year then Halloween II was announced while it was going on

I can only think of two pre-existing icons that are close to the first letter; that being the Inquitius, and Lady Luck.

I would imagine that Lady Luck is out of the picture, so that would leave the Inquitius.

They were the ones that summoned the Legion, as from what you said; they will come back this year as-well.

Just thinking out of curiosity.

Legion is a noun, and the name of an X-Men villain. Also, just two letters off of 'J'. The the best of my knowledge, not a verb though.
