Again... It would most likely be 3 day or 4 day sets, alternating which cast as the extra "off" day.

That way they're not "filling holes" because the casts will be standard, and there's equity in total hours/days worked.

The solution is simple. There's no reason to complicate it.

^Hope this year won't have any budget cuts. Admittedly, 27 did feel cheap in numerous places, though I didn't recognize a lot of the props--in the houses at least. Probably part of why no cold effects in Shining, though they could've just ditched the fire effects outside of AvED.

I might get blasted for saying this, but I think it would've been better off if B&T had ended a year early because of this.

I'd say the VR maze would be a drag on what they can allocate to originals but then again it's an upcharge.

They said "similar ratio of IPs to originals" as 25. I really don't expect a 10th house (nor am I hoping for one), especially if the HP show becomes a thing--don't want the budget to be spread too thin. Hoping for a 4/5 original/IP split, as well as a HIGHER BUDGET.

I would assume that Hook wouldn't affect the budget, due to that it seemed to of been a show previously in development from last year.

I’m not buying the Lovecraft and Hitchcock house... they’re rumored every year and never comes. So if true the IP’s being “considered” for mazes might include:

- AHS
- Nightmare on Elm Street(or was that scrapped?)
- Stranger Things
- IT
- Trick ‘r Treat
- Hitchcock
- Halloween
- The Fly(personally I don’t see it coming)
- HP Lovecraft

Also, keep in mind that this “10th house” is probably a return of the VR house, which was mentioned in the article. We could still very well see a 5/4 IP:Original split, with the VR house serving as the 10th

Yeah, Owl's track record sometimes has been spotty, regardless of if he's been on forums or not.

Jus ta hunch, but I feel like It, ST, AHS, NOES, Halloween and TrT are the six most likely IPs. I don't know which one of those six is most likely to not be there.

Only sequels I can think of for this year are The Strangers 2 and The First Purge... good for the former and a big “Why” for the latter. A Hitchcock house could go either way, either really boring or really scary but it might come off dated

Edit: Is Insidious a possible returnee since it technically wasn’t a maze last year? The movie did really well

I’ve heard nothing on originals. Likely won’t for a while. I’m really not trying to get the information either. (It’s easier to keep sources if you’re not asking.)

I’d expect more than 5 IPs though. That doesn’t include the “IPs” that have been discussed the last five years without ever showing because I don’t expect them.
