I know this will never happen, but I think it would be really cool if, instead of using something like Us or Get Out, A&D worked with Jordan Peele and HE was basically the IP for all intents and purposes. He could create something totally original just for HHN.

So basically what Universal Hollywood did for HHN pre-2006 with Clive Barker.. (And Rob Zombie's 1st maze. And hell, even WWE/The Undertaker)

Event Horizon could be added to that list.

Doesn't matter. Original loosely based on an IP still counts until the ability to bring it to life officially comes available. Like "From Dusk Till Dawn", 2005's Demon Cantina... it wasn't until the film was redone as a tv series that FDTD was done officially. Although, sometimes, the original loosely based concept is better than the real thing.

I do not. Even the Swamp Yeti is speculative and could be wrong.

Man, it's been a while since we've had a year where we're in the dark on so many of the houses. It's rather fun and refreshing to be honest.

Either way, what I do know is my friend Ian and I will be returning this year. Unlike the one day wonder I did last year, it'll be Sep. 21st and 22nd so I'll be able to really take it all in.

I mean, the only thing besides ST we basically knew at this point last year was TrT. People (including yours truly) were still talking about It, AHS, and god knows what else. Poltergeist was on virtually no one's radar. It seemed like we would be lucky to get three originals.

There was a lot of talk this time last year that The Lost Boys was coming.

Because Scary Stories is on my “Hope To See At HHN Before I Die” list (just like The Lost Boys was), I’m cynically guessing it’s the fake news of the year.

i think its a lot more likely than some of the other things getting thrown around, a lot of people know scary stories, the trailers show great environments and cool character designs, and on hollywoods side john murdy has worked closely with GDT before.

Lol the moment I read that on the April fools page my heart started pounding. I seriously hope GB is coming.
