Not a recent album but I would love to see Opeth’s Ghost Reveries turned into a house. It’s way too niche of a band for it to ever happen but I’d like some of their heavier tracks to make the playlist.

I'm 50/50 myself. His clues seems to be having more stock this year.

But announcement dates are more easily changed than houses.

Wouldn’t doubt it. This year hasn’t followed the usual Thursday pattern.

Also I’d be willing to bet it’s the House of 1000 Corpses or KKFOS announcement based on the pattern of last year

Could be. Seems Ifrit has been getting decent info. Announcements are always shifty though, so doubt anyone knows for sure.

With 8 houses plus scare zones and at least one show, and 20 weeks or so until HHN starts, they almost need to announce something every 2 weeks or so

Roughly on average, yes. But I wouldn't be surprised if there's a moratorium on house announcements from roughly mid-May to mid-July--they'll want the attention all on Motorbike.

@Imperius : Hopefully last year represents the beginning of a new trend in that regard.

Like, how? Most things I've seen him post have been guessed here or are so vague it could be literally anything. Additionally it seems house announcements have been shuffled at the last minute this year, so I think we need to watch for leaks.

I mean Ifrit has been dead on this year with house clues. They haven’t been vague, if you know what the answers are. In fact, he/she has been incredibly on the nose to the point of being obvious. Announcements allegedly got thrown off due to marketing vs. Uni conflict.

Didn't see Tooth Fairy mentioned anywhere else. Legacy hadn't hinted at it. Also, I have followed Ifrit and I don't see how their clues are any different from anyone else. They are all open to interpretation, but Ifrit generally seems to have an answer in mind and used to confirm correct answers. Last year Ify got thrown off like many others did, ate crow and was quiet for the most part after that.

This. The Tooth Fairy is the best example because it comes from out of nowhere, but the clue pretty much shouts “Tooth Fairy, Guys! It’s the Tooth Fairy!”

In previous years before last year, yes. But last year changed things up rather significantly as the originals got their separate announcements (plus announcement videos), and the announcements for the scare zones were split into two announcements, one for the originals and one for the IP's.

An considering this year we've got a announcement for a IP -and- a original, I don't think we're getting a info dump of the originals.
