It's HALLOWEEN Horror Nights and Halloween is one of the most well known horror franchises so I'd think it would be much more popular of a draw. You can say Creepshow has the Shutter series, but the latest Halloween movie did gangbusters at the box office and was very well received.
Having said that, from what I read online/heard on podcasts, Creepshow was an above average house made better by the room transitions. Usually known as "black curtain wall rooms" that people hate, I guess it did something "unique" to make the house more cohesive. I guess it did a good job of having something going room to room and people gave it high marks for that. I've never been to HHN Hollywood so I'm just regurgitating what I've heard with no real understanding.
