Right, but speculation season doesn't end there. Then the "what rooms will appear in XYZ IP house?" and "What will be featured in Marathon of Mayhem?" and other speculation begins.




When they posted their own spec map with a ton of questionmarks on it did that confirm anything? They knew the spec map was coming out so they trolled their fans. Now they know everybody is positive Stranger Things is coming, so they're trolling once again.

I’m not saying I think stranger things is coming this year, but I think at this point, universal would be missing out on bringing in tons of crowds and making TONS of money off of hhn31 by not having ST there with how popular this recent season is and how much everyone wants it to be at hhn this year

As far as I know no one is saying if there is drama. Fear street shown up on the first spec map and Stranger Things took its place on the second spec map. Rumors from insiders said that Netflix was not coming this year and they were just red herrings. That’s were we are right now.

Right. I've never really understood the hype with announcements, it's the difference of two or three months tbh

For people who live out of town, spec maps and announcements are huge. People spend a lot of money on tickets, hotels, air fare to visit HHN. Universal knows IPs get people through the gate. Unless you are living in an HHN bubble most people are not deciding to go this year because Legends Collide was announced. The past couple events I flew down twice because someone had to see Stranger things , Ghostbusters or Beetlejuice etc. As we stand now I have one trip booked with my wife and a bunch of people who want to go if Stranger Things/random IP is there.

Literally same. The anniversary years and IPs are what really bring us down there. We love the originals too, but what is coming to the event overall is a major deciding factor for when we go, so it is nice to know beforehand so we can prepare funds and plan.

This is what I worried bout with speculation maps and the hype of those. If you're booking vacations based on rumors, I don't know what really to tell you at this point.

Placing those clocks all around Studios for guests to find is an awesome way to announce Stranger Things.

As for there being no ST, people will go regardless, I think Universal knows they don't need a whole line up of massive blockbuster IP's to draw in the crowds.

I’ll be Disappointed if there’s no icon this year, I mean I will still love the Halloween theme. But something needs to go with it to add that sense of spice and pizazz. Just my thoughts.

I’ve been seeing TikToks on my For You page addressing the grandfather clock tweet and let me tell you, everyone in that comment section is CONVINCED that ST is coming this year. people are even quoting their “inside sources”
