High hopes but I don't know that they can capture lightning in a bottle twice. The illusions, the storyline, the music, all served the greater show. Hard to do that all over again.

The cast and even the music choices were a big part of what made that work. Worried we’ll see an AWIL Round II situation.

Oh excellent, I think this should quell any worries about that area not having a MIB tent house this year. (Personally, I felt that was a moot point to begin with since the Sprung Tents are pretty much in the same area *and* the FatF house breaks up the distance between houses.)

Quite true, if they can pull off a good new mix of everything, it'll be fine. I don't see them doing the exact same show as before, especially since if I recall some of the performers planned for last years show couldn't make it.

I would say a more apt comparison is Marathon of Mayhem. 2019's version was hands down one of the best nighttime shows I've seen, period. Unfortunately, 2021's version was rather disappointing both in comparison to 2019's show and on its own in general.

It was like last years lagoon show; 29’s was an EXTREMELY high bar and Jack doing stupid quips and metal playing the whole way through just wasn’t it…

They've already started construction on the F&F house, plus the MIB tent hasn't been put up. Unless they want to go to 11 (which I really don't think they want to this year), I don't think we should expect an MIB tent house.

I think @Tobias was just saying that even without the MIB tent, traffic flow shouldn’t be an issue bc both the sprung tents and nightmare fuel pull crowds back there

If there’s no house back there this year hopefully they’ll use the MIB queue to hold crowds before Nightmare Fuel starts. It was always a pain trying to walk back there 30 minutes before showtime

BWAAAAAAAAAM.

Hopefully they avoid a sophomore slump as others have brought up.

I hope so but unfortunately I expect them to continue lining people up against Diagon Alley. I don't think they have enough ops to handle a line in MiB.

Was I the only one that found nightmare fuel painfully boring? The magic acts were the best part the rest was just really repetitive:shrug:

It got hit with last-minute changes due to the spike from COVID. A lot of the performers got stuck in the UK - so it was an adjusted show.

It was an okay way to take a break from walking around for a bit, but I am NOT the audience for what they are trying to do.

It had last minute changes and I still think it was better than every show of the last dance group that shall not be named

It’s a worthy successor to Bill and Ted, IMO, and I’m glad it’s coming back. In the conversation for best part of HHN 30, again, IMO.

Yeah it's definitely not the best show to have graced Horror Nights, but after seeing it, I felt I was watching something that would grow over time and become something much different down the road...Almost like the Tribute Stores...the bones are there just needs some improvement

I still think we're missing out on the Jack/Beetlejuice version of a B&T type show...but whatever, I don't make the rules

Some of these fellas, probably. Maybe an Abel or two. Probably some original monsters as well

If they don't remake the light tunnel from the halftime show, I'll be very disappointed

I remember stalking these boards way back in like 2018 and someone, I think Legacy, mentioning a parody show with Rick and Morty would be fun. I still think that would be awesome, maybe with a more recent adult cartoon that exploded in popularity like Smiling Friends or something.

Also, it would be absolutely criminal if the light tunnel or mirror maze don’t appear in the Weeknd house

An Adult Swim house would be a blast with Aqua Teen, Venture Bros, Rick and Morty, Robot Chicken etc…
But god forbid a Rick and Morty show; doesn’t help I despise the newer seasons. Beetlejuice should be the star of a newer parody show if they ever go that route again.

A Smiling Friends show based on the Halloween special episode would be absolutely beautiful.
