It makes a ton of sense as UO still does seasonal pushes marketing-wise

I think it's cute they still think nobody's going to show up one summer because they announced something else too early

31 days away from the event, 31st year of the event at Orlando with some traditional themed aspects of Halloween, and Halloween is on the 31st - It’s a very touché pun!

Due to unforseen issues, they've scrapped any special food offerings & will require all guests to pack their own lunch like school. All food locations will close before the event to save on staffing budget. Better stock up on PB&J if you've got a FFP!

I was talking to one of my coworkers the other day who was going for her first time this year and she told me a good point I didn’t think of. While I’m excited about the “Traditional Halloween” theme she said she was kinda disappointed in that when I told her as it was her first year and wanted something like Gorewood or Crypt TV. This will be my 9th year at HHN so while I’m looking forward to this theme, I can understand why she or someone new will not be.

As someone who only went last year when I heard the "theme' for 30 as 30 years 30 fears I didn't really know what that meant for zones. I'm expecting her to really enjoy it this year with the lineup and the speculated zones

I would tell "her" that they've not done an overarching "theme" in over a decade at this point

And the diverse range of experiences should provide at least something that "she" would enjoy

Why the quotes around she and her? And while you’re right, they are doing “Traditional Halloween” this year according to the spec. map. She’s disappointed in that idea and not asking for another theme just want it like in past years. After all it’s her first year so she dosent know much about the event other then last years.

Because the framing you used is often used as a shield for saying your own thoughts. "People are saying" etc.

As for CrypTV, that's their own fault for blowing up.

What was wrong about crypt TV? I just brought that up as an example and not aware of anything negative about it.

Really? That's actually hilarious

I'll be honest that scarezone was a no go for me

Watching mini-shows is not all that appealing to me, and also I started to get very irritated having to maneuver around it lol

That was my only issue about it. As I’m in an ECV due to problems with walking, I can’t begin to tell you how irratating it is to maneuver that area while driving an ECV. It’s definitely an headache and epically there.

I can imagine that's a challenge in most of the zones

I remember getting flack last year for saying the zones have become more of an irritation (minus NY and Hollywood)

I LOVE the monsters they create. I did not love how claustrophobic the zone was. The Birch is my all time favorite.
